Who are we?

The Worcestershire Association of Women Graduates is a member of the British Federation of Women Graduates, the University Women of Europe and the International Federation of University Women.

We meet once a month, usually in members’ homes, to enjoy talks given by invited speakers on a wide variety of subjects, click here for titles of recent talks.  Our programme also includes visits to local places of interest, annual Christmas and summer parties, coffee mornings and other social gatherings.  We have two thriving book groups.  We have links with our sister group in Lithuania and we are twinned with the University Women’s Group in Dijon, France with whom we exchange visits.

In line with BFWG ethos, we support local, national and international charities, with a particular emphasis on the education of women.  Members have the chance to take action with a view to influencing government decisions.  The BFWG Programme enables us to meet members from other Associations at Regional, National and International events, such as AGMs and conferences, International Day, and annual seminars held at the Houses of Parliament.
